UNSTOPPABLE (2018 - Korea - Action/Crime/Drama)

Don-chul (burly megastar in the making, Ma Dong-seuk aka Don Lee, TRAIN TO BUSAN, THE OUTLAWS) is a financially desperate gentle-giant of a man, who keeps investing the savings he and his wife struggle to gather on fly-by-night business ventures, seemingly always doomed for failure. One evening, after a fight over yet another bad investment, his wife, Ji-soo (Ji-Hyo Song, NEW WORLD, INTRUDER) leaves him by himself at a restaurant, and angrily returns home.
Things go from bad to worse, when Ji-soo is snatched by some gangsters, after she and and her husband's brief run in with them at a traffic stop, after a minor collision. A fateful situation of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
But, as it turns out, Don-chul has a history of his own, and before settling down, was club-fisted gangster himself, and now Gi-tae,(Kim Sung-oh, SECRET ZOO, THE MAN FROM NOWHERE) the psychopathic, human trafficking mobster that has Ji-soon, is going to be made to pay.

Some good fight scenes, with Dong-seuk kicking ass in tough-old-dude mode, ala Charles Bronson or Liam Neeson, the right amount plot twists as Don-dhul navigates the streets and back alleys of the underworld in search of his wife, and some occasional light comic relief from humorous characters, add up to another decent, if somewhat predictable, Korean action joint.
